Roundtrips with N’glish 6/04/2010

N7 on stage

Hello to all, it’s been 36 days since I left home. First stop was the Bahamas, last stop Paris. 8 Countries, 18 cities… and thousands of music loving people! It’s been a unique experience as most tours tend to be. After 2 days in Freeport, Bahamas, I remember wondering why had I bothered to bring a coat on this trip… Of course 24hrs later in Cologne, Germany while turning up my collar on that same coat my question was answered. One of the most memorable things on this tour is Paris being postponed. I’ve never seen something so big just stop and done with so much class. Well done Michael, it had to be a hard thing to do… but the right thing to do for a friend.

Well we did the show again tonight in Paris and changed up the set quite drastically (or backwards)… Started with “Ready or not” and ended with “Feel it (In the air tonight)/Seven Nation Army) … With “Broken wings” and “Sound of Silence” in between. Many of the Parisians told us they appreciated a different set. I must say it was strange playing to the same audience in the same arena. But nevertheless a worthwhile experience.

Of course we got our regular competitive games in; Dominoes, Cards, Ping Pong, Bowling, and standing long jump (we’ll make anything a competition). The highlight would probably be Hops scoring 190 bowling in Cologne on Wednesday. Oh, let’s not forget seeing our manager (Helmut) practically jump 3 feet in the air after scoring is very first strike is his life! Seeing that… Priceless!

The truth is my friends: this tour is not really ending, yes we’ll go home today, but we are leaving again tomorrow :-(

So the saga continues with more tickets, more stories, more shows, more cities, more people, more sound checks, more promotion and more tweets! (thanks Tracey for setting me up on my blackberry).

Let’s talk soon, probably in 2 days or so after some home cooking and loving!

“Love is a weapon of light and has the power to eradicate all forms of darkness”

God Bless

Roger, over and out

    Dear Friends,

Thanks so much for your warm words. This tour was great and wonderful. You know I was waiting for this date (Antwerp may 30) since our last meeting in Paris (Boulogne Billancourt) on november 2009.

Do you remember your venue in Quiévrechain in June 2009 (a very small town in France, near the Belgium border).

You know, I’m a huge fan of Michael, but I’m also a big fan of Naturally 7. Each show was great, during first part of the show, audience stay in arena and love your music.

Then, I would like to send a special thanks to Andrew Lefkowits. Hope to see you again on october 12 in Antwerp too. If you have time, I would like to introduce too my daughter Léa (8) who loves you too.

Take some rest before the US and Canadian Tour,

    Best regards
